A record of human powered flying. Details of human powered aircraft,   probably the most comprehensive table of types from 1935 to 1990,  (since then, see also the records of The Japanese Bird Man Rally).Some basic human powered aircraft design principles explained  in a way hopefully comprehensible to all,  (plenty of other places to look, if you want to follow this up ).

Full account of my own plane, Jupiter,  in particular I have tried to pass on some of the lessons  learnt from my own experience in the design and construction of my aeroplane,  particularly where I encountered problems other than the technical ones.
